Winemaker Notes: The wine is made from a blend of 94% Cabernet, 3% Merlot and 3% Syrah. The relatively young vines (7 to 12 years old) thrive in well drained, alluvial. Deep aromatics greet the nose with lively notes of ripe black fruit; plums and blueberries dominate and are followed by hints of vanilla, anise, figs and cedar. The palate is a massive expression of rich, red fruit flavors with more plum intertwined with bramble and bright, clean red berry flavors that are beautifully framed by supple tannins and a touch of zesty.
